Four whales found dead on British beaches this weekend

Photos form the air (pictured, main) show the true scale of the 30-tonne mammals, which dwarfed the people who flocked to Skegness in Lincolnshire to see them. Another washed up in Lincolnshire later on (bottom left), and it was just hours after crowds also gathered in Norfolk (bottom right), where another whale was found the day before. Experts believe that the whales, all male, are part of a bachelor pod that accidentally ventured into the shallow North Sea, after 12 more were found on coastlines around Germany and Holland last week. Pods can include more than 20 animals so there may be more to come, it is believed.
