WHAT A DAY: Severed horse head found in Manhattan park, along with "other animal parts in box"

Matt_ADMIN_Matt_ADMIN_ Administrator

A woman in Highbridge Park in Upper Manhattan Sunday morning discovered a severed horse head and other animal parts inside a cardboard box, according to the NYPD.

The woman came upon a Corona beer box at about 11 a.m. and opened it only to find the head, other unidentified animal parts including bones, fresh fruit and bottles of soda. Some of the animal parts may have been cooked, said police.

The Department of Sanitation removed the box shortly after.  The investigation is continuing.  The ASPCA and city Animal Control and Welfare were notified.

Wow, it gets even better. Here's one of the captions in the included gallery of shots of the park:

Jokes aside, perhaps we could have done without the leap year just this once.  The 29th has been absurd.  Fortunately, I'm already well into March 1st and therefore safe from all this cr--*opens news*  Oh.
People in this world look at things mistakenly, and think that what they do not understand must be the void. This is not the true void. It is bewilderment.
