Seventy two MILLION are under winter storm warning: Three dead as Northeast is hit by blizzards

Lynsey_ADMIN_Lynsey_ADMIN_ Administrator
A snow storm which caused airline cancellations and power outages in the South is beginning to make its presence felt in the Northeast while California is preparing for heavy rains not seen in a decade as inclement weather grips wide swaths of the United States this weekend. Of the lower 48 states, 19 are now being affected by either winter storm warnings or advisories. Authorities in Connecticut had to shut down Interstate 91 in both directions after a 30-car pileup clogged traffic (above). A weather map showing frigid temperatures throughout the South is seen in the inset photo.
