A RILED-UP radio host took aim at anti-Trump protesters for not rising up against Barack Obama – despite him deporting more than 2.5million people during his time in office.
Julia Hartley-Brewer scolded demonstrators while clashing with University of Birmingham professor Scott Lucas, who blasted Donald Trump for not seeking a “sensible” position on immigration.
The presenter’s outburst comes after the US leader’s administration issued tough guides to widen the scope for deporting illegal immigrants.
She said: “I don’t remember anyone objecting to that [Mr Obama’s deportations].
“I don’t remember all the people who protest against everything Donald Trump does – and I don’t like Donald Trump, I’d like to say – but I don’t remember people protesting about this when Obama did it.”
The former President deported undocumented immigrants who had been convicted of serious crimes, but President Trump’s immigration order looks to widen that to all illegal immigrants who have committed any crime.
