'Fight for open Europe' Schulz CELEBRATES Dutch exit polls & claims Wilders CANNOT win

Lynsey_ADMIN_Lynsey_ADMIN_ Administrator

EUROPHILES have begun celebrating the results of Dutch election exit polls, despite Prime Minister Mark Rutte losing 10 seats and Geert Wilders gaining four already.

Former president of the European Parliament Martin Schulz said it had become clear right-wing Wilders could not win a majority in the Netherlands - while only two of 388 municipalities were officially in.

Exit polls out Mr Wilders’ PVV party as joint second, behind Mr Rutte’s VDD.

It is nowhere near clear whether Wilders will be needed to form government – despite all parties saying they would not work with the PVV.

Despite the early celebrations Rutte’s party admitted it has not made any gains.#
