Big game killer EATEN by crocodiles while hunting in Zimbabwe

A PROLIFIC hunter became the hunted after he was eaten by two crocodiles while on a murderous big game shooting tour of Zimbabwe.

Scott van Zyl, who has been pictured with big cats, elephant and lions he had mercilessly slaughtered, was last seen heading in the direction of the banks of the Limpopo River.

He had been on a trip with a pack of dogs and a Zimbabwean tracker, who had taken a different route.

Suspicions were raised when the dogs returned to the camp without Mr van Zyl.

A search party was scrambled and the hunter’s belongings were found in the back of the vehicle he had been driving.

Footprints were seen on the bank of the river, but there as no sign of Mr van Zyl, whose bag was discovered strewn on the sand near the water.

But the mystery of Mr van Zyl’s whereabouts appears to have been solved after two crocodiles were discovered to have human remains inside their stomachs.

Sakkie Louwrens, a member of one of the search teams, said: “We found what could possibly be human remains in (the crocodiles).”

A local conservation group added DNA tests had confirmed some material found inside the crocodiles belonged to Mr van Zyl.

  • He won't be hunting anything else, that's for sure.
People in this world look at things mistakenly, and think that what they do not understand must be the void. This is not the true void. It is bewilderment.

  • I think it's what is called "poetic justice".

If the politicians treat people this poorly when they're armed to the teeth,

just imagine what they'll be willing to do once they've disarmed everyone.
