A VERSE in the Bible proves that the end of the world is nigh on September 23, Christians have shockingly claimed.
The quote, which allegedly has a code that matches with events from the eclipse onwards, is found in Luke 21: 25 to 26.
Christian numerologists claims the Bible numbers match with August 21, the date of the Great American Solar Eclipse, August 25 when Hurricane Harvey hit, and August 26, when it flooded Houston in Texas.
Chuck Campbell wrote in an article entitled "the end of the world will be Sept 23? Seems legit", which was published on Knoxnews.com: "One popular Bible quote currently making the rounds as evidence is Luke 21: 25-26, which says:
“25: There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.'
"'26: Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.'
"Footnote: The eclipse was August 21, Hurricane Harvey hit Texas on August 25 and flooded Houston on August 26 - Luke 21: 25-26 … See how that works?"

Isn't it interesting that unnamed people defined in the media by a faith can predict enormous events that strike fear into people. If the unnamed are right and the end of the world happens it won't matter anyway because we'll all be gone but if they're wrong do they even get admonished for making a false statement? Thinking back there've been so many of these predictions every year and what do they come to? Zip, nada, nothing.
The Creator of earth and the planets who set the sun, moon and seasons in orderly motion is the only one who knows what the signs mean. All man can do is try to interpret, mostly without getting it right. Still it sells newspapers.
Let's face it in looking at the world today our downfall has been progressing at a rate of knots ever since 9/11 (date of which coincidentally matches the phone number to dial emergency services - 911 - coincidence?)

Doomsayers watch countdown to Sept 23 ‘Planet X’ event rubbished by NASA
An online countdown says there are just days left till the alleged apocalyptic event predicted by author and doomsayer David Meade for September 23. The prediction, involving the so-called Planet X smashing into Earth, has been repeatedly debunked by NASA.Meade wrote a book called “Planet X” in which he predicts that the planet, which is also called Nibiru, crashes into Earth in October. Recent events, including Hurricane Harvey and the solar eclipse, have caused him to move the date forward by a few weeks.
Meade cites Bible passages from Luke 21:25 and 26 as proof that these recent events are signs of an impending apocalypse.
His belief that the world will end is based on another Bible verse called The Woman and the Dragon from the Book of Revelation.
Evangelical Christian publication “Unsealed” tells the story of the verse in a four-minute YouTube video called “September 23, 2017: You Need to See This.” It uses animation from the planetarium software Stellarium showing constellations Virgo and Leo setting with the Sun. It is superimposed over the landscape of Jerusalem.
Meade shared the video on his website.
The theory has sparked feverish speculation online, with numerous conspiracy theory videos emerging on YouTube. A countdown clock has even been created to, supposedly, mark our planet’s final moments.

I do bet the anti-christ will appear on the world stage within the next 50 years, likely much sooner. What is different now than any other time in history is the ability of technology to complete what the bible says will happen along with increased natural disasters and the Re-establishment of Israel as a nation which the bible specifically states

Earth begins to WOBBLE as ‘Nibiru approaches’ say believers
THE Earth has begun to wobble on its axis - a sign that a pole shift is imminent due to the impending arrival of Planet X, conspiracy theorists across the web claimed today.

World to end on September 23 – but predictor David Meade says he’s available NEXT WEEK
DAVID Meade, the man behind widely circulated Nibiru theories who declared the world will end on Saturday has told the media he is not available for interviews… until next week.
It is not known whether David Meade is losing confidence in his prediction the apocalypse will begin on Saturday, September 23, or whether he, like many others, believes the process will be long drawn out.
Canadian radio producer Robyn Flynn revealed the details from Mr Meade on her Twitter profile, telling followers: “Just tried to book an interview w/ a researcher who says the world ends Saturday.
“Told me he's not available for interviews until next week.”
Her followers reacted saying the response was “priceless”.

Planet X prophet to sue media for 'sensationalising' claim Nibiru threatens Earth
THE man behind the book which predicted an Earth destroying planet will appear in the skies TOMORROW before wreaking havoc upon the globe, says he is set to sue media organisations for "sensationalising" his staggering claims.
David Meade, a fundamentalist Christian, who sells a number of self-published conspiracy theory books online, insists his theory has been misrepresented.
Mr Meade stands by his claims we should begin to see the approach of Nibiru from tomorrow, but that the apocalyptical events it will bring may not start until October 21 when it passes the Earth.
They were made in the book Planet X - The 2017 Arrival, which has sparked an online sensation.
Mr Mead says in his book: "The existence of Planet X is beyond any reasonable doubt, to a moral certainty," but he claims the media has sensationalised this staggering claim.
Writing for Planetxnews.com, he said: "These billion-dollar major media groups that write about us distort what we have said.
"They write and distort what we say to sell papers.
"They have to resort to sensationalism to do it. Therein lies the problem with the major media sources and their crazy headlines!

NIBIRU COMING? Claims secret bunkers built for US leaders to escape Planet X apocalypse
TRILLIONS of dollars has been spent on building a network of secret underground bunkers across the US, to save the country's elite from an alleged impending Planet X apocalypse, it has remarkably been claimed.
Thousands of internet doom mongers are convinced the mythical Planet X or Nibiru will appear in the skies from tomorrow, before passing Earth in October, bring a polar shift and huge seismic activity due to its gravitational force.

(Natural News) Despite the popular predictions of some prophecy-minded groups, the world isn’t ending this Saturday. I fully realize many people will be seriously disappointed by such a notion, because it means that all the problems you have to deal with today will still be there for you to deal with on Monday. While the idea of a “cosmic reboot” instantly eliminating all the world’s problems and sorting out the good from the bad in a grand gesture of divine judgement might appeal to a great many people, I suspect that God’s plan for you won’t be so easy to complete.
I’m no Bible scholar, but God’s plan, I believe, is more focused on teaching you how to work through problems and discover who you really are. Destroying the world deprives people of the ability to finish their “life tests,” if you will. At least that’s my take on all this, but since I don’t know the mind of God, I could of course be completely wrong. (I suppose we’ll find out in about 48 hours…)
Nibiru and Planet X
Why am I talking about all this? Some prophecy scholars insist this Saturday (or Sunday, depending on the Jewish calendar definition of when a new day actually starts) will bring about a cosmic cataclysm that will rain down fireballs across much of North America, punishing the United States for being the abortion murder headquarters for our world (among other sins). It’s also being predicted that a mysterious tenth planet — Nibiru or “Planet X” — will appear, and possibly throw Earth out of its orbit, or achieve other various outcomes that are being hotly debated on the prophecy circuit.

SoCal TV viewers alarmed by apocalyptic emergency alert: 'Extremely violent time will come'
The Orange County Register reports a Lake Forest woman says she was watching HGTV on her Cox Communications cable service on Thursday when the alert flashed across the screen. Video shows the message included the voice of a man warning that "in the last days extremely violent time will come." The newspaper says Spectrum cable customers also got the message.
A Cox spokesman tells the newspaper that viewers should have seen a typical emergency-broadcast test but a technical malfunction caused it to go on longer than it should have. He says the broadcast picked up an audio feed that bled into the alert.
